so it looks like your going to be selling the old cooler.
if its complete & are wanting to get ride of it what do you want for it?
im looking at getting one but just cant aford full price right now.
you can PM me if you want.
I am actually going to hold on to it just in case something fails with the aftermarket one. If I do change my mind I will def reach out.
Does the L.E.D light come on only when the oil cooler fans kick on?
I know this was answered but I just wanted to add that the light is great. It's a "soft" green light and not bright enough to be distracting at night. I was thinking it might annoy me if it was very bright (and I'd have to black it out somehow) but it's just muted/soft enough to give off the perfect level of light without being annoying.

Cool. Good to know. I don't think I have a good ground as the light (and fans) do not come on. I don't have a temp sensor, so not sure under normal what riding conditions the fans would come on. (Understand it's at 218 degrees, but don't know what that equates to when riding). I used the crank sensor bolt for the ground, but have it between the bolt and the washer, so I'm going to move it under the washer and see if that makes a difference. Noticed you used the post of the voltage reg, so if moving it under the washer doesn't work, I'll try that.

Wow. My Ultra Cool would come on at 180 deg. and shut off at 180 deg. Normal running for my dynoed 96" was 200-230, probably 20-30 degrees cooler on average than before the cooler install.
On one trip to AZ I saw 260, but it must have been 110 degrees outside. Never have seen that since. 260 was a common occurrence prior to cooler install.
