I was wondering if anyone has heard their mufflers with and then without the baffle wrap? Just finished up reworking the baffles on a set of CVO slip-ons, left out the wrap and they sound great; just curious as to what they may sound like with the wrap back in place. I just might take the time to find out by reinstalling the wrap and listening first hand. Any first hand knowledge from anyone? Thanks in advance BTW, Dawg, if you get to read this, THANKS on the feedback about removing brake calipers awhile back!! Tight but do-able

I`m running 2.5 in. baffles reversed and all the packing removed. Like the sound and can hear my tunes just fine.

cant speak for the CVO slip ons but i have run my RUSH slip ons with baffles packed, with out packing & with out baffles completely & wound up putting the packed baffles back in JUST becuase i liked the deeper tone i got when i would idle. running no baffle at all was great on the freeway & i would say unwrapped baffles are nice too around town & sneaking out early in the morning & wouldnt disturb the neighbors too much when i would leave at 5am.
