could that be due to the rubber of the tyre being a softer compound compared to a Harley Dunlop Tyre ?
or do you think its just down to how much weight and load the tyre has to cope with under breaking etc ?
It's really hard to say, but 1500 miles is not enough for me to argue, could also be I changed the tire a little early. May also be partially because of all the road construction here, those grooved lines can't be too good for any tire.
I can't say whether or not the 21in I put on a couple months ago handles any better or worse than the stock wheel ... but I can say the 21in combined with the lowered (1 inch), Progressive montotubes handles better! Really haven't noticed any negative aspects in low speed maneuvering either. About the only con I can think of about my new wheels ... is the cost!
i moved the bike with the 21" on and didnt find it moved any other way than normal
infact seemed to move around a bit easier if anything plus i noticed it lifted the front end a little to where i can have the bike lean like it should when on the side stand lol
All the pictures of the 21" front wheel are of either Street Glides or Road Kings with fairings. What about a normal road king (windshield)? I'm sure the guy asking would like to know since he has a Road King Classic.
