Certain dealers are now part of a "Seat Demo Program" where they let you put one of their seats on your bike and ride with it for a few days and you can try several different seats. They have 26 seats in the program, whether or not the dealer close to you has all 26 or not is one thing, also they may not participate in the program. But this program is available at some dealers, so this may be an option for you to find out which seat you prefer. Anyway, I thought I would throw it out there, so you can check the dealers close to you and see if they are participating or plan on joining soon.

Test rode a Sundowner today with the OL for a few miles. Ended up coming home with a brand new one. I'm 6'3/280 and considered the tallboy at first. After some research, the main reason I did not even try it is that my wife already complained about the lack of room she has with the stocker. Since the tallboy would move me back even further, I knew it wouldn't work. The Sundowner did move me up and forward slightly, but that helped by giving my wife more room. We rode 162 miles today and my *** never twitched once. With the stocker I would have been getting squirmy after 75 or so. Next weekend we'll put it to the true test with a 4 day 1500+ mile trip to a rally in the Texas hill country.
Edit: My wife's only complaint was that the extra padding/added seat height made the sissy bar hit her back too low. In the end we ended up buying a larger pad that was taller and she said it was perfect.
