The dealership's spongy sticker remained 2 years on my bike; their commitment to HD is now over and I'd like to have my name engraved on the engine instead.
Do you think that a 4 weeks delay for a first oil change plus a recent firm refusal to sell a new brake switch will give them the opportunity to wash my bike? No way!

Everytime, unless I tell them not to - which I've done because I didn't want to spend anymore time there.

It's smart business. The longer you're there, the more likely you will find something you cant live without.

The only thing that I ever let a dealer do was take it out of its crate

no need to fuss over wash and drying....it rains a lot and what doesn't come off with the rain will come off when the neighbors water their grass.

Riders Harley Davidson in Trussville (Birmingham area), Alabama always washing mine and I do mean they do a complete excellent wash everytime I have any type of service regardless of how minor or how major the service is....I had a push to talk button pop off...it took them about 5 mintues to install the new button and they washed my bike before pulling it back around to me because I waited on them to do the work........ http://www.ridersharleydavidson.com/ is an awesome place........

Just picked her up from the 1000 mile service and they did a pretty good job cleaning it, not that I brought it to them that dirty. But my rear wheel was definitely dusty/dirty and when I picked it up it was squeaky clean. I'll give them a thumbs up for that . . .
