Thumbs down

Had my EG in for 1K service, they scratched over $2000 worth of chrome. An incompetent unsupervised ******* did the damage to my 2012 FLHTC. I am in the process of trying to get them to stand behind the damage. I didn't ask them to wash it.

The dealer washed my Dyna a year ago and as I picked it up the bike when pop!! when i tried to start it. They washed it with a pressure washer and got water where it was not supposed to be! They pulled it in and dried it out and gave it back to me an hour later and was fine. I dont know what they did, but it is ok now. After i traded it in on my street glide if I ever have to take it in I will not let them wash it!

Denny's HD in Springfield, MO doesn't just wash it -- they detail it. Very nice bonus service.

No they never have...Yet they did wipe it down once, when I rode it in for service when the weather was snowing.
I imagined the service techs don't like working on a wet machine?
There again, most auto repairshops/dealerships won't wash a cage after service either.

No, but (1) my bike only goes to dealer if I can't fix it & (2) wouldn't want the 19-yr-old college flunkee who moves bikes around + washes/details touching my scoot.

Sure wish I could find someone to wash and dry mine for $20.00. Usually takes me 2 to 3 hours when I do it right. The only dealership I know of locally that does is the last one I would do business with. There are about 8 within 9 minutes of me. Then again I only have my bike worked on at a dealer if it is an emergency such as broke down. That has only happened twice in 61K and each time I was treated more than fair.
