I service my bike, but I did bring it in for the brake switch recall. They gave it a free wash, worth just what I paid for it. Bike looked better before they washed at it, but then again I alway keep my King clean. There is a recent thread called "Cleaning Fanatics" that describe people like me.
I guess "Clean" is a relative term...

Dealer doesn't touch my bike....
After my 1000k service I haven't gone back.
Yes, they did wash and blow dry before I picked it up.

When I got my first Harley (sportster) I had it serviced at the dealership, and they always washed it, Then they decided that quick wash was $15 extra, and a full wash & dry was $30. Ever since I service my own bike, and the wash is free.

My dealer always does. Good job too. It is the same kid that does their detail work. In fact, if I stop by he will wash it for $20 bucks paid directly to the kid. Dealer takes $0. Puts a fan on it to cool it off faster and then washes plus blow dry. Usually done in ~45 minutes. Always looks great.

mine says they do but I'm not sure they actually do it every time. Haven't had to take in my RKC yet but when my Buell went in about half the time it came back washed. They always say "it'll just be a few minutes... they're washing it " but the bike has a layer of dust on it when they hand it over. I think it just depends on if you live in a dusty area. If you do the dealer is more likely to wash your bike before giving it back to you just so you don't think about where they keep the bikes and how dirty it is. My car dealer does it too. their holding facility is right next to the freeway and everything gets a layer of freeway dust. The dealer will always go over the bike and note the condition of everything and any scratches before and after service. I've never had a problem... at least not with the Buell... don't expect the RKC to be any different.

They washed my bike with 33 miles on it when they replace the 1st regulator and I got a free 2" scratch in the side cover.

My local dealer washes it, doesn't dry it, so I end up washing it anyway... otherwise I have water spots LOL
