FLHP high speed vibration after service… help
Hey everyone this is my first time posting here so please bear with me I hope I’m doing this right. Anyway I recently took my bike in for its 10,000 mile service. I had the stage 1 update installed along with the service and new rubber. When I got the bike back I hit the highway to check out my new found HP and once I got over 70 mph the bike developed a severe vibration, so much so that I couldn’t tell what kind of vehicle was coming up behind me in my mirrors. I took it back to the dealership and asked the service manager to take it for a spin. When he got back he took it right to the shop. They changed the front wheel bearings and thought it was cured. Again I took it out and the same thing happened. You can feel it coming on around 65 but by the time you get to 75 it’s a handful. At 85 it starts getting scary and by the time I hit 90+ my calf muscles started hurting from my feet bouncing off the floorboards. The vibration is present in 5th and 6th gears. I took it back to the shop and they’ve had it ever since. So far they’ve replaced the front bearings again, replaced the front tire again, checked the forks, checked the frame, checked the motor mounts and still can’t seem to find the problem. I talked to them today and they plan to replace the rear tire to see if that’s the culprit. Has anyone had a problem like this with their ride??? I’m lost and I think the shop is too.

kinda need to isolate whether it is road speed related ( which seems to be what they are working on).
or RPM related
even an exhaust shield contacting the frame can cause problems.
the drive train "floats" on it's rubber bushing, anywher it conatcts the rest of the bike can cause vibes to travel through the frame.
welcome to the forums
