Gonna have my seat reshaped!

Gonna have my seat reshaped!
I have an 2005 Road King Classic and like many others I have a few seat problems.
1) I like how low and back the stock seat sits, but after a few miles it hurts like hell.
2) The Mrs. won't even look at the stock seat.
3) I bought the HD Pillow Look seat and the Mrs. can ride all day.
4) The HD Pillow Look seat has me sitting on the gas tank, which is causing problems when coming to slow stops.
Solution: When riding solo I ride the stock seat and endure the pain. When riding with the Mrs. I use the Pillow look seat and endure feeling like an HD hood ornament.
My wife and I reached a comprimised that we would get a 3rd seat. (One that would be wider and more comfortable than stock for her and would allow me to sit lower and further back). I did a search on seats and ran across a thread in this forum basically saying wait before you buy an expensive seat. This guy http://www.meancitycycles.com/index.htmlcan cut some foam out of your seat changing your position and not your comfort for $35. What do I have to lose considering I was about to fork over hundreds for a new seat. Next week I am going to send him my pillow look seat and let him do his thing. If any one had had this done let me know what they think. If anyone is interested in doing this, I will let you know the out come.

RE: Gonna have my seat reshaped!
I am a white guy with a ghetto booty. I was tired of sittibg on top of my gas tank. I took my seat to a local upholstery shop and after 3 tries we cut it down so I have the seat I want. I think that cutting on them is the best way to go. I used to have a Honda and the guy at Mean City Cycles did a gazillion mods on those seats and I never heard anybody biitch. T.
