Default Fuelmoto level b . Do you reuse headgasket?

My dealer is installing the new heads, can they reuse thee gaskets? Hoping to hear from some experience with multilayer gaskets, thanks

I have not heard of re-usable head gaskets. I don't know why you want to either.

I've re-used many gaskets, seals, o-rings in my time and still do - but never a head gasket!

hope you arent doing the work if your asking a question like this. you have rocker cover gaskets rocker base gaskets you are better off getting a whole kit 99 bucks u get all gaskets except motor case. you get all head gaskets required cam box stuff

It has a crush ring around the hole and can only be used once. Also with the multi layer steel ones it is very important that it is very clean and NO oil residue at all or it will fail.

Yeah.... don't do it on a motor. You might save a few dollars now but if they leak, it will cost you alot more later. Besides, I cant imagine a HD Dealer ever reusing gaskets anywhere, no profit in it for them.

Fuel Moto has always sent gaskets with anything I've bought from them.

I reuse them on all the airplanes I work on.......never had one come back!!!!..... I'm not sure thats a good thing!!
