The only time I snapped belts was pulling wheelies ..
No more wheelies...for me..
Last one I put on was one for sidecar use . Said to be stronger..
Panther is a good belt also...

We are not hearing all of this story. There is either something terribly out of alignment, or the bike is being mistreated to some abnormal degree. Way too many belts in the time period documented.

i went through primary/secondary belts like that at one point. it was either no more wheelies/burnouts/holeshots or chains... i chose chains. if you arent abusing it like i was and this happened, something is terribly mis-aligned

Seems like maybe a missmatch in pulleys, i.e. wrong teeth spacing. I still have my stock belt and went through a 103 stage V motor (108h/121t and now I have the 107 with 121h/132t. I keep the belt at book specs using the right tools for the job.

Do you have an aftermarket pulley on the bike? Have you checked the teeth in the pulley?

O yeah, I bang on it. But the last belt pictured above was put on prior to a road trip from Maryland to Myrtle Beach, prior to the road trip I probably rode the new belt 40 miles. So from Md to SC at an avg 80mph, I got what is pictured above. The belt felt loose, when I got in town, I went straight to the dealer, a block from the dealer the bike started to buck, I got off to look and thats what I see. 3k in belts in a year is not a good look.

I did replace the rear pulley (w/ a stock) prior to all the belt issues. That pulley was bought from a forum member here, not sure if thats the issue or not, it wasnt brand new but all who have looked at it says it looks fine. Thats probably what I'll do, get a new rear pulley.

Check your tire alignment. That can put stress on a belt and cause it ti de laminate.
