I have an H-D Road Zeppelin on my bike and it is hands down the best seat I have ever sat in. I am a disabled vet and have a bad back (among other injuries), and I am able to ride for as long as 2 hours without having to get out of the saddle. That is double what I have been able to do on any other bike / seat.

Check out Mean City Cycles, buy a used seat or a take off and have them custom fit it for you. Save you a lot of money and make you very comfortable. www.meancitycycles.com

Most of the reputable seat manufacturers have their supporters. Unfortunately, for one reason or another, there are at least a few people who find one problem or another with those seats.

The one company I've never seen/heard a bad comment on is Russell Day Long.

You have to send them your old seat and they use the frame to custom build you a seat for your specific height, weight and preferences.

Thanks for the offer. I wish I can jump at it. But I have to pass.

Default Mustang Seat

Just bought a Mustang Super Wide Touring Smooth finish off e-bay yesterday from a dealer, $350.00 delivered to my door. I should have it Monday, and I'll let you know what I think of it. Hopefully it will provide the comfort my stock seat didn't. I have heard nothing but good from anyone who has had the Mustangs.

Corbin was my second choice, but leather sounds like maintenance, especially with rain, though I could be wrong. The other aspect was price, which I couldn't find one under $450 for what I wanted. Again have heard nothing but good from anyone who has one.

Looked at C&C as well. Good looking seats, but just not familiar with them and I don't know anyone who has one around me. Very good looking and can be customized. Pricing seemed similar to Corbin.

If you are a big guy Corbin, nice and firm support. I was bouncing my tailbone off the seat pan off of a softer Mustang seat.
