Default Street Glide Lower Fairings

Thinking about pulling the trigger on some lower fairings for my 12 Street Glide. I think they look sharp and would help with buffetting. If anyone has pics of their bike with some, post them please, Im looking for some inspiration before I drop the cash.

Do it, it makes the ride so much more comfy.

I use them for a month in fall and a month in spring then hang them on the garage wall for the summer. Just find them too warm to ride above 60 degrees, even with the vents open. JMO

I don't have a picture yet, but I just installed a pair that I bought off this forum. The main reason I got them was I like the looks of them on a SG. But my secondary reason was I also wanted to reduce the fatigue of long overnight rides. I watched the "Parts For Sell" part of the forum for a couple of years before I found a set of Vivid Black at the price I wanted to pay. I wished I bought them sooner.

Im getting them for my bike as soon as I find a good deal. I've grown to like the look and after riding a rental with them they make a huge difference in buffeting! I've been watching the Forum Classifieds and E Bay for a set for my Road Glide.

A little off topic, but I see Fairing Factory painted "Vivid Black" Lowers with Quick Detach hardware doors listed on E Bay from both Fairing Factory and Eastern Performance for under $ 500.00 has anyone seen or used these?

Dont have pics handy but I added them on my SG. Wish I would have done it sooner. Love them. I got mine thru Lake Shore Harley. Lshd1.com. $529 color matched. Heard alot of bad review ls on the knock offs. Not worth save'n $100 to get a lesser quality part in my opinion.

I have a set of those on my SG.. easy to put on and they have held up pretty good. The finish is great and they are made fairly strong. I haven't installed speakers (yet) so am just using the boxes as glove boxes. They do look good and perform as expected.
