Well just left the dealer. The lower end is toast from the high compression build. Working on a quote for going with the 103. Should know price and availability in a few hours. Rough estimate with labor is $4,000 to $4,500. Thanks for all the input guys!

Update.... The rear inner cam bearing failed which was the start of the destruction of the piston and lower end. The cases are being sent to a local machine shop as the inner cam bearing failure took out some of the case. The machine shop will be able repair the case with a sleeve for the inner bearing. Currently waiting on parts for the 103 build. Looks like Saturday is the soonest to get back on the road. If all goes well.

I hope you can relax and enjoy part of the trip anyway. Maybe the HD dealer will rent you a bike and let the money apply to the rebuild. Or at least part of it.
