Sorry for the 2 seperate post but have trouble getting pictures to the right file size. this is a picture if my cams....they are pitted and have a goove worn in them. Going to go with gear drive.

Man I feel for you , my 2 Ultra didnt look as bad as your cams and the tensioners where in worse shape, but the quick fix was to re-install new tensioners and go with the SE203 cams, as I didnt have the time (downtime) to do any re-search on cam choice (gear drive or otherwise) There are countless options available and it really is a matter of preferance on who makes a better cam...I mean who actually can say that x cam is better than y cam when the lift and durartion are he same? You are limited by your finances and time frame and whether you or a shop you trust is doing the work.

Does anyone else besides me wonder why the cams are this worn at 39000 miles. Seems like excessive cam wear to me. The tensioners I get, but I've seen cams with less wear on bikes with way more miles.
