Default Factory Stereo Upgrade (Ultra)

I did a search, and could not find where this topic may have been discussed before (although I find that hard to believe).

What does an Ultra come with stock, as far as sound system goes? I know it is an am/fm/cd/cb/intercom, but am curious as to the power output. Hasanybody had a factory upgrade done, as far as power output? Was it worth the money, and what did you have installed? I am not interested in going to satellite radio..am/fm/cd is good enough for me, but I want to have some juice behind it.

I believe my 06 Ultra is 80 watts. I do not need to turn it all the way up even at 80 MPH. Also has weather bands - I think 3 channels. Has a Aux hookup for IPOD, GPS or other device.

I use the radio the most. Do use the CB on long trips.

Thanks..I guess that is what I was looking for....if the factory installed system is loud enough to hear in traffic at highway speeds, and if it has decent sound.

Can't imagine using a CB much, exc maybe on ALR or PGR rides.

You will be surprised how handy the CB is on long cross country rides. The truckers will keep you aprised of road conditions, speed traps, accidents, delays, etc. They also make for good conversation on those long straight roads.

I use theCD player a lot, and about 1/2 way up is all I need, with 3/4 helmet on and no headset.

Don't forget a set of HogTunes speakers to improve the quality of sound.
