I tried a Sundowner when I had an '08 Street Glide.
1) It sat me slightly forward
2) I would have to readjust my sitting all the time because I would slide down and forward and it would crush my boys.
3) Front seat looked great, rear seat looked huge (it just looked strange to me)

I have now tried the Hammock on my '12
1) I bought it because it was cushy and I have a very bad back (it rides great)
2) My tail bone doesn't start hurting after an hour and I don't squirm around being uncomfortable
3) It does look rather large, but the front and back go together
4) My adjustable driver's backrest works, but it doesn't line up exactly in the middle of the seat hole.
5) It does sit me back a little, I can tell by the way the highway pegs being father away.

TFB...is it a keeper? Does it ever start hurting after say a full day of riding?

Thx,

every seat hurts if your in the saddle long enough. One other note I have with the Hammock it squishes down so much it rubs on the lids from the saddlebags and leaves marks on the seat.

At 6" 250 lbs I an looking at the anything but stock seat for 2012 ultra. Back is shot and hard seats cut off nerves. Guy in town rebuilds seats and says he can make it better. Kooshy cushion was not the answer.
