Yesterday the better half and myself did a 200 mile trip,just trying to get use to the feel of the bike,and didn't want to get to far from home with the better half on the back.It all went very well first time she's been on the of a bike with me when would that she was there,except to point baby ducks and woodchucks on the sides of the road.No more wiggling around throwing the bike from lane to lane.I'm really glad I went with the choice that I did.More gloating to follow safe riding.

 

Nice. I ditched my Street Bob for a 2011 Street Glide with the 103" on it and I'm totally happy. My wife rides with me all the time and she loves the SG.

 

Hey wideglide you should pm a mod and have him change your username. Terry is the one that changes mine when I change scooters.

 

I did ask the question and I never got a reply I guess I'll try again.

 

...to something non-bike-specific, so you don't have to go through it every time you change bikes....just sayin'

 

Definitely nice having added weight, creature comforts + your mods did a huge improvement w/the 103 engine heat. Great look'n scoot & I'm looking to add same color bike to my garage soon (2012 Iron 883 in BBP)...still haggl'n w/sales, but we're getting close. My FLHX needs a little brother...

just purchased a 2012 Street Glide as well. only have 50 miles on it but that will change this weekend. I will be eating Ramen noodles for a few months while I spend the $$$ to get the SG how I like it.
