Default Should I be worried about riding??

Here's the scenerio: New 2012 Ultra Classic. It has 950 miles on it and my 1000 mile service is scheduled for next Saturday. If I ride this weekend I'll easily put a couple hundred miles on it and if I drive back and forth to work over the upcoming week it'll be over 100 more, bringing my total mileage up to almost 1300 by the time of my service. I guess I'm wondering what everyones thoughts are on going over that much on my 1000 mile service. I did change the oil at 520 miles so the original oil has already been replaced.

Thoughts please. I'm a new Harley owner (been riding metric bikes for a number of years) and don't want to cause any warranty issues or damage to the bike if I go over that much.

Thanks all.

Not to worry!! It is really ok. I think you are better off in a lot of ways having more than the 1000 than less. I just dropped mine off this afternoon for the 1000 mile service with 1229 on the clock!

I predict multiple pages of posters saying the same thing because apparently the OP's are always deaf.

I'm glad to hear there's no need to worry. I just want to ride and not worry about it. Thanks for the responses. Have a great night.

If you go to 1001 without the 1K service done at the dealer for $1001 you will void your warranty.

Only real issue is that the 5,000 mile service will come sooner.
