I have their slip-ons, which are basically Harley mufflers hollowed out and fitted with their own baffle system. Their head pipes are probably just Harley stock pipes with the cat removed. You can do the same thing if you can weld, or know someone that can.
I love their slip-ons. I found a slight leak where they slipped over the head pipes. Since fixing that issue, I've been able to run them without any baffles without the decel popping I was getting before. Sound great, even with the cat still in place in my head pipe.

I have had their decatted headpipe on my 11 Ultra since last fall. Certainly reduces the heat and really helps the sound. As far as a tune, I did not retune until this week when I bought the Dynojet Power Vision. There is a noticeable difference but I could not or would not say that de-cattting the headpipe had any noticable negative effects. Unless you can cut and weld yourself it is a cheap alternative for removing the CAT.

Yes, they just decat the stock pipes. I bought a Wild Pig decated headpipe that is just like the ones from American Customs. It's $150.00 and you get $50 core refund if you send back your stock pipes. Definately cooled the bike down. Better sound and haven't noticed any difference in performance with my stock intake and mufflers.

Yeah thats what I did, it took me all day on a Sat and $30 to a muffler shop. Then I took the tail pipes and cut the 4" small baffles out with an 1 1/2" hole cutter which I understand is what AC does except they weld a flange with two bolt threads as well as a flange on the original mini baffles. The pipes without the mini baffles sound like a car thats lost its tailpipe. My wife liked the sound but me, not so much. Its only a good setup to buy if you have no mechanical ability whatsoever, otherwise do it yourself and save all the $ for a nice set of slip-on mufflers.
