I paid $363 for a new rear tire just a couple weeks ago at the dealer. $275 for the tire, $88 for labor.

glad i bought my tire changer. just used it this morning and put dunlop 402 on with new valve stem for about 129.00. not difficult if you spent the money on a lift and then a changer. i figure if i change out 6 tires everything is paid for at these prices.

My dealer here in North VA wanted short of $850 for two stock tires and installation for my old Road King - freaking nuts! Had it done by an indy used elites for $426 total. Precious!

It's incredible to think that there are people who will pay that, but there must be! He probably adds an upcharge to lube up the muffler bearings but comforts them with a free tire rotation coupon when they pay the bill.

I'll laugh in my dealers face if he comes up with a number like that!
But I already know it will be more than I am willing to pay for 2 tires installed

Let me guess, Patriot? Those are the same people that said they'd put cams in my Softail for a bargain price of $1700.... not including parts. They will never get my business.

I have a set of new take-off streetglide tires and wheels from an 09 that I have on Craigslist for $325. Not even one call. The freakin tires cost more than that and they are mounted and balanced on new factory rims. What am I missing here?

A lot of folks must pay it! Because both East Coast and Patriot wanted about the same amount.
