I haven't had any issues thus far with my Mammoth DNA's. They are made to not require a tube...but I'm sure you could put one in if you are paranoid.

 

I was curious about that as well. wheel lock should come from the axle or bearings . outer race moves and the inner race of the bearings sound as though the bearings were not flush if not seated right . Or bearings not packed correctly wrong anti seize . but curious as to the why the wheel hub would have anything to do with it
