If I couldn't have a backrest I would have to sell my scoot. Nuff said.

Hey Passrusher75, is the adjustable backrest easily removeable like the non adjustable or at least less adjustable version? I had the non adjustable rider backrest on my RKC and was able to take it off and put it on in 30 seconds. I want to get an adjustable one for my EGC but still want to be able to remove it. Thanks! Don

I took mine off after I put 12.5" bars on just to try since
my riding position changed, but 15 miles down the road I knew it would be going back on. It's a must have for me!

Much easier. You can remove it in just a couple of seconds.

Love the mustang seat and have a backrest but miss the HD adjustable one. Backrests make a long day bearable.

Funny, I picked one up here on the forums. Rode it in several different locations and finally found a spot I liked. Got my new seat from Mean City Cycles (I am vertically challenged). Slapped it on the Street Glide, the butt pocket is a little lower and fits me like a glove. The backrest just did not feel right so I took it off and am much more happy without it.

It's going for sale by tomorrow.
