Default Denim Black VS. Vivid Black

Hey there... New to this forum and I'd like to get some input on customizing my new Street Glide.

I just bought a new 2012 Street Glide in Denim black. I want to get rid of most of the factory chrome and now have the bike apart. I have 35 parts off and ready to go to the powder coat shop. In addition, I'm going to be adding accessories (exhaust, backrest, ape hangers, etc.) all in black.

My question is this:
Should I be powdercoating the parts in gloss or denim black? Like I said, my bike is Denim Black.
My initial thought was to do everything in Denim, but the powder coat shop recommended gloss. He said it would have a better contrast with the Denim tins.

Any input, opinions, or experience is appreciated.
Bring it on... Good or bad!
Thanks!!!

Thanks man! That is one bad ride! Are all the accessories gloss black? I already did the front end and the crash bar in gloss, but need a little guidance on the rest of the parts (floorboards, strut covers, blinkers, etc.).

Yes all chrome has been done in gloss black. If you have any questions just PM me. Also post some pics of your scooter.

As a FatBoy Lo owner the gloss or vivid black works best. It looks good with denim black or chrome, easier to clean, etc....

Denim or flat makes a good look, but not if everything is flat as well...... We all like a little gloss or shine, right?

+1 on vivid black, I believe the contrast will make the bike stand out and look better
