Default How long SHOULD a dealer take to do a complete rimw/tire/rotor swap on a 2012 FLHX?

I'm just wondering because I HOPE the front tire comes in today and I can drop the bike off tomorrow for them to do the swap of my stockers to Agitators. I'm really hoping to drop it off Wed. and get it back by Fri. so I can ride all Memorial Day weekend!

2 Hours or less of work. But with the holiday coming up most dealers are busy. Just because you have an appointment doesnt mean thats when they are going hands on with your bike.

Call and ask them

I can do a wheel swap in under an hour (I don't have to pull my exhaust). The dealer will probably charge 2 minimum, maybe 3. Just depends on what the book calls for.

No way you can do it yourself or have a buddy help you? It's really simple.

Are you planning on just dropping the bike off, without asking the service writter when they can get to it?

We charge 2 hours labor if the bike is here and the wheels and all. We have to mount the tires, mount the rotors, check rotor run out, swap the pulley and rotor over and torque everything properly. It all depends on who is doing it really.

Couple hours to do the work, but ask the dealer where you are taking it. They should have the best answer for you

I'm dropping it off tonight and I'll get it back by the end of the day tomorrow.

To quote Borat: "I'm much exite!"

Book says 2 hours for a tire change, including R&R from bike. Just had it done Saturday.

I bought 2 cases of beer for the techs, and a bottle of Bacardi for the service manager. They like when I bring my bike in!
