Default 2010 tour pak with detachable kit

It is my understanding that the detachable tour pak can be moved back 2 inches or so without a relocator kit, if this is true has anyone done this and do you know where i can find the instructions on this ?

thanks Glynn

If you pull your liner out and also look under the tour pak, you should see the next indentation that the bar fits into. Just unbolt and slide back and make new holes for the hardware.
