my 07 same issue, turned out the nonexistent heat problem melted the loctite on the tps adjuster screw and it backed out,if left long enough it will throw a loss of idol control code, that didn't do me any good at the time.

There's a tech tip bulletin on the throttle stop screw issue (TT410). I have a copy I can send if anyone wants to email me.
Did you cycle the IAC on and off several times when you cleaned it?
yep...my money is on IAC as well. Just had the same problem and I was able to recalibrate it....once I did that...problem fixed. I was told that the is a TB for 07 models about the IAC. Not sure how you could recal using a stock ecm.....maybe theres a clean ....or maybe just replace.
My 2007 had a similar issue and it turned out to be the crank position sensor. What would happen is that I would ride it and when I would stop at a light or something it would idle low, spit and then die. I could shut it down and start it back up again and it would work fine. Once the CKP was replaced it never happened again.
I know this is from way back in 2012 and I have the exact issue you described. I'll be looking into the CKP and likely replacing it and hopefully that fixes my problem. Just wanted you to know you helped someone haha.
