21 inch front wheel on a SG. Whats the ride like?

I don't know if I'm imposing on someone else's thread, but I have a question:
I own a 2007 Road Glide, I friend just bought a 2013 Road Glide. He had his front tire replaced with a 21 inch tire and rim. He gave me his old tire and rim and I want to replace the old 16 inch with the new 18 inch. First of all will it fit? If it does do I need to change the bearings or anything else? Also it seems pretty simple to just swap out the front wheels, any problems I might expect, any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks
