That's just what I've been looking for, I ordered mine this morning.

I have both the flat & glossy helmets. Purchased them about a year ago from Leatherup.com. I had to get the next size larger than what the chart shows that I wear. I do like the helmets though.

Thanks again for the idea!

For anyone wondering, here's what the helmet looks like without the snaps but keeping the three "small" screws in. I too think it looks fine without plugging or filling the holes.

The last pic is with the snaps on for comparison.

Wow, really does look smaller than the Daytona. Even more helpful is that you mentioned you also have Daytona. I have a large Daytona carbon fiber that I need to wear a sweatbanded doo-rag or baseball cap underneath. Also a medium black one. Based on that do you have a good guess on which size Outlaw would fit me?

I'm real happy with my Daytona's but am totally in favor of a smaller looking/feeling DOT.

I have the large in the Daytona but this Outlaw is a medium. It fits me perfect.

Smile Outlaw Helmets

Thanks for the info in the post !! I rode yesterday and had to put my SkidLid half helmet on to keep my DooRag from blowing off on the interstate. I did kind of have that Mushroom headed feeling and decided to find a different one. I went to 4 motorcycle shops and some had the carbon fiber half helmets , but they looked as thick as my Skid Lid, so I did not buy one.
Visually your pictures show that the Outlaw half helmet appears to be just a bit smaller so I tried the Leatherup.com website and they were sold out. I did find them at Motorcyclecenter.com for $69.95 plus 7 or 8$ for shipping. total shipped =$77.90.
It should arrive sometime next week and I hope that I like mine as much as you like yours !!
Happy Trail's

I got this helmet last spring in a M, but should have gone with the L. Recently ordered the Outlaw Ultra Slim Polo in gloss black in a L, and it is the same thickness as the CF helmets, but not cost $40!! I believe that any of the Outlaw helmets that start the model number with AX are the thin helmets

I have an Outlaw half helmet and really don't care for it. I bought an HCI POW/MIA half helmet from M&M Leather and definetly prefer it for a DOT half.

I live in PA with no helmet law... so the novelty hangs from the handlebar more than any of them!
