Thanks, that's exactly why I posted pics. I have a closet full of half helmets that look huge on my head because I didn't know what they looked like on a head.

Not to steal you thread but for all riders....

Be aware that many provinces north of the 49th; now have laws that say ..."NO DOT / Park your scoot" and that means wherever it is.....

It doesn't matter if your are 100 miles from nowhere; if a LEO pulls you over for a "check" and doesn't find the 2 authorization tags in the helmet; the bike doesn't move.

Could be a costly adventure.....

I like that. I started wearing a helmet to give my son a good example so when he starts riding a bike he always sees daddy with a helmet and can't use the excuse that daddy doesn't wear one so why should he. LOL But my son also gives me more reason to wear something DOT and not just my beanie too... but like you said, most DOT half are horrific and mushroom my head. This looks great. Now to find a shop with em local so I don't have to order and hope it works. I hate having to return stuff. Thanks for the post and especially the pics!

Got this helmet in XL, hat size 7 5/8, fits great. Like the helmet a lot but what's up with the funky smelling liner. Any ideas on getting rid of that smell?

I like the carbon look, but I am not a fan of half helmets for real protection.

I've got this exact helmet and love it. It took about 70% of the buffeting away.

As for the smell I agree. This thing smelled horrible, kinda like a chemical type odor and very strong. I had it shipped to my work and on the way home my wife made me put it in the bed of the truck. She said, "I hope your not going to put that stinking thing on your head".

Before I ever wore it riding I got some extra strength Febreeze and would wet the liner and leave out it in the sun all day. I did this for about a week before the smell got tollerable.

There is hardly any odor now, and like I said, I love the helmet.

Looks like they got them lined out with the smaller version again. I have one of the original Outlaws and then around the end of last year the folks that were ordering were getting some ***** headed Outlaws. Glad there back on track.
