Default Specialty Bike Prices

Has anybody out there priced what the POE, Firefighter, and Military ultras are going for?

I am pretty sure that MSRP is them is right around $21,500.00, but I have heard that some dealers are selling for 2k below MSRP.

The MSRP for the sepcial edition Ultra's are between $20,383 and $21,323 depending on if you get plain black or the two tone, with a price of $20,893 MSRP for the solid non-black color I believe. My local dealership had a POE Ultra in blue and it was $20,893 MSRP.

Thnx. I had been looking at an 05 Classic that was going to cost me $17,200.00.

Found out today, that our local dealer is selling POEs at 2k under MSRP to the local Officers. Like the wife said....why buy a 2 yr old bike w/o warranty and over 20000 miles, when I can get a brand NEW one for $1300.00 more. (sometimes I LUV that girl !!)

LOL......I know what cha mean. I was just gonna get a stock '07 RK and the woman said get what cha want now so you aren't wishing 6 months down the road ya should've went a different route. So I got a RK Classic with true dual, SERT , Stage I A/C, and about $2,000 worth of other goodies. What a lucky man I am to have a woman like her. Good luck on the new bike if you plan to go that direction, I know I'm glad I did.

So, today, after telling Dealer #1 that I wasn't gonna take 1/2 of the retail value on my trade, I went to the local Dealer (the one that is offering 2k off on POE rides).

We are standing around in the showroom....me, the mrs, the salesman, a few customers, a few employees, etc. 20 ppl in all, including an On -Duty Motor Officer, who obviously knows me, and knows my wife.

We are bsing about the different bikes, when the Mrs starts looking at a couple of Ultras. Rather LOUDLY, she says "Now I would ride on THAT bike.......IT looks like a GoldWing".....

you could have heard a pin drop.

Goldwing prices have gone out of control and you get more features for less money on the Ultra, CB for instance is a grand extra on the Wing.

I am ordering a POE Ultra Classic next week in Vivid Black. MSRP is $20,383. Went to 2 dealers one was $17,506 and the other $18,306. Firefighter edition is $17,914. That is before freight/prep/taxes and tags. Also getting alarm and profile laced wheels (which adds $770)

the Gold Wing isn't the "value" it once was.

Nice bike, but not for that kind of money. I'd be on a BMW before I dropped that on a wing.
Kawi is introducing the new Concours s0on, first redesign in almost 20 years, engine is a detuned 1400 out of the ZX 14, so there will be ways to get some ooomph out of the thing, and still have hard bags, wind protection, etc for around 11 grand. That is value IMHO.

But comparing it to a bagger is apples and oranges. I'd rather do my long rides on a EG
