I've had these powder coated fork lowers and cow bells for a couple weeks, was a little hesitant on the install for a few reasons. The plan always seems to get fowled for the smallest of glitches. During this install, it was those dang bolts on the bottom of the forks that holds the dingle do???? on the inside of the fork. Without that problem, this would be a two hour project.....uhhhh and the reinstall of the caps on the top due to the spring load. I did find out something, there was no apparent leaks at the seals prior to the project, but there was very little oil in each fork. Not sure if that is normal. I found a chart on "the Google" on fill levels, so I threw in 10oz.
Here's my tip..... let someone else do it!!!!!
my Ranger Buddy rides with me, ALWAYS!!!
I painted the fender myself in the back yard, turned out ok; probably get it repainted this winter. I found an almost perfect match at Lowes, it's Valspar Brilliant Silver Metallic. I put a hand full of coats of gloss clear.

Jared was one of my Privates in Aco 3/75. I should have cloned him when I had the chance.
