I need to find some people to ride with, all my other friends are non HD riders....N there idea of riding is around town for 30 then sitting for an hour!

 

We are always looking for more people to ride with. I'm in Morris so I'm a pretty good haul from you. We actually just spent last weekend on a ride down there.

 

Have you tried your local HOG chapter?

I know this is an HD forum... but the STAR Touring chapters usually have great people and they welcome all bike styles and models.

 

I'm in Morris cdemarse, let me know I'd like to ride.

I hate sitting. Once I put all the gear on and get on the bike, I want to go! I know how you feel. Can't help you on the people to ride with though, unless you're ever in Reno. : )

 

Check out Meetup www.meetup.com and look for motorcycle groups in your area. There are a bunch here in Phoenix and they usually welcome any make of motorcycle. Though some are for particular brands or styles.

I have met some good people through that site. Or you can start your own group and people will come to you.

And check out your local HOG group like others have said, I would assume that they have rides planned that are not published for all to see.

 

Our local HOG chapter has rides every weekend and often times during the week. It is, after all "all about the ride"

 

your local HOG chapter is a good place but not the only one but it will give you a chance to look at other bikes and find out what stuff you are missing or what you might be thinking of getting and find out it is junk

 

local hog chapter it works if you work it you'll get out what u put in?? wait a minute wrong group,seriously its a place to start,u may find 2 or 3 chapters close enough to u.check em out go to a meeting and show up for rides(some will suck some will rock) you'll meet a lot of riders.

 

is there an abate chapter there. Good people lots of riding
