I have 2 06 bikes
1-Ultra (build 1-06)
1-Herritage (build 12-05)
Harley has never said any thing about either one
I bought the herritage new in feb 06
And I bought the glide in sept 06 out of the harley rental fleet
Do they only do something if you bitch
Are the 25* injectors better in any way

My 06 Roadking was a completely different bike with the 25s verse the 8s. I was having problems with the bike running when stopping at lights. The dealer told me that the 8s were to small and not providing thecorrect amount of fuel for the engine to run correctly. He also told me that HD went to the 8s to meet Federal DEP. You need to check if you have the 25s first if not I would complain to the dealer that you are having fuel issues and have them replaced.

 

I just put on RH True Duals, Big Sucker, PC111 and Jamie from Fuelmotto sent me the correct download, as I have had the 25% injectors installed, it works out great.

 

Hey Jeff, The Moco didn't do a recall on this, Probably because it wasn't safety related. Instead they did a "Service Bulletin". Basically if you are have the typical problems, stalling, pinging and running hotter than He!! then take it to your local dealer and see if they will help you out.

 

Well I went to see the dealer to pick up some parts and I had the injector talk with them
I found out there is a recall on the ignition switch for my bagger
So on tus. I will take the glide in and they will do the recall and the injectors
When it is done I will drop off the softaill and they will do the injectors on it.
Cant wait to see if there is really any differance
On the softail I have the race tuner will they have to do a new download or will my stage one be ok
On the glide I have the V&H Fuel Pack the ecm is stock how will this affect the computers

I have an Aug. 05 build with8 degree injectors and it runs great. I refuse to change them.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. You'll be sorry. Some people had problems after they changed them! Only change them if you are having problems.

 

I agree if your not having problems then dont fix it, mine had the symptoms, was dying when you took off, Ride Safe.
