Default A couple stupid engine/exhaust questions, sorry

I have an 09 SG with the Harley 110 upgrade, done by the previous owner, with Rinehart slip ons. Couple of questions.

How do I know if I have true dual headers?

If I don't and add them, will I have to download a new map.

If I add them, should I go ahead and add a complete new exhaust (get rid of the slipons)

If complete new exhaust, what do you recommend?

Appreciate any help.

only really can answer one of those, if you do add them you probably dont technically "have" to download a new map, but if you can, I would. You don't want to lean the bike out to much. Just IMHO. Good luck! : ) I'm sure others will give you better answers on your other questions...

It's hard to tell but looking at your avitar I'd say you have true dual header pipes(two seperate pipes coming out of each cylinder head directly to the mufflers with no crossover pipe in between). In either case you wouldn't need to replace your slipons as they are the same mufflers that would go on true duals or stock head pipes. As for the map download - do you know if the bike has a tuner installed (power commander, SERT, etc..)??

I havent seen anything, anywhere on the bike. Looked everywhere. If I remember correctly, all tuners have some sort of device attached to the bike where as a map is simply downloaded to the ecm?

Also, just looked, I have the 2 headers come into to one then separate back into two, both sides of bike. I also have the o2 sensors in the headers.

Since it's an 09 you should have a non cat head pipe which is a good thing. If a dealer did the 110 upgrade they might have repalced it with a head pipe with the cat in it some of them kits from harley came with a headpipe with the cat in them because of epa changes and california bullsh$t.Hopefully they kept the original headpipe on it if they was smart, the only way to know is pull the slipon and shine a light up in the headpipe if it is catless I would just leave it alone unless You really want true duels.
