I just recently lowered the rear of my street glide 1 inch to get me closer to the ground. Getting ready to pull my front end apart for powder coat and new wheels so i figured while its down i might as well lower the front also. My question is if i do this will i have problems putting it on the jiffy stand or will the clearance be ok?

I have a RK that is dropped 2", with a shorter kick stand off an UC along with an angle plate mounted on kick stand mount. If i don't turn my bars completely to the left it will tip over on it's own. At a 1" drop you would probably be fine, but i would recommend atleast the angled mounting plate to allow your bike to lean to the left alittle more.
I lowered the rear and front of my SG 1". I thought about the shorter stand, but found it really isn't an issue except in my yard (which is lumpy and bumpy and on a hill). Then I just move it around until I find a lower area for the stand to contact.
mine is lowered 1 1/2 in the front and I put on air ride, so when i slam the bike it gets really tippy.
I just loosened the bracket where the stand mounts and stuck a washer between the frame and the back of the plate, its such a slight change but makes a world of difference.
Thanks everyone, i was gonna go ahead and order the shorter stand but after hearing from u all i think ill wait and see how much of a difference it makes and try the washer trick before anything.

On the 09 and up you cant use a angle plate because the kick stand and floor boards are all in together as one piece.
