Default Harley Alarm PIN Tip.

You may already know this but I found out the hard way. I am taking a road trip and wanted to set up my alarm PIN number after about 2 years....LOL Anyway not a big deal to set up, but what they don't tell you on the wallet card is that if you misplace your FOP and want to use the PIN you can NOT MOVE the bike in anyway while you go to enter the code. If you do, the alarm goes off and you have to wait at least 2 mins before you can try again. My tip is to write down on your wallet card.... "First thing, DO NOT MOVE bike"

found that out this weekend, as the battery in key FOB died. Never thought of keeping a backup battery in the bags, now I have two.

Yep, backup batteries in the tour pak, and pin on card in wallet. The batteries are the 2032 type available at Walmart. Usually about $4+ for a pair.
