FLHR runs too lean...stumping the shop too

nope. everything I listed was put on my bike. he told me that the zippers ignition module is tuneable, the instructions that came with it detail all that, but when I talked to the service writer at HD I was told that they do not have the softwear. so the module may have improved things, but it was probably a $300 guess and now I can only get adjustments done at a shop equipped with Zippers softwear. Not the best situation. I have the original module so I can always swap it back and sell the super dooper module (maybe). Like I said, I'd prefer to think he wanted to get my bike 100% but there's also the probability that he loaded me up.
I'm leaning towards paying the HD labor in the future. seems that a dealership makes their $ from OEM parts and labor rates and they have more to lose and less to gain by loading up on their customers. I trust that most people aren't out to screw ya, but I never give a second opportunity regardless of motive. Excluding the slip ons, the cost to correct the idle issue was $600 in parts and $460 in labor .
