Pull the heads, bring them in, have someone change the springs and then re-install yourself. Maybe you can squeeze S&S for a little something. I undrstand not wanting someone inside your motor, I am the same way.

 

Thanks to everyone for the help. All the shops around here are backed up for weeks anyways, so I'll probably try and change them myself and try and hit S&S up for some kind of compensation. I'll probably start another thread about the springs, but if anyone knows if I can change them without pulling the heads I'm all ears?

 

Hey. I got a fuel pump issue on an 06 dyna. My sending unit in tank had wiring problems. So I just took it out. It's got two wires to one wire back into two and into the 4 wire connector that plugs to top plate on gas tank. Fuel pump and regulator still good. Fuel lines pressurised but when I turn on the run switch fp keeps running. And it turns over but do not start.does the fuel sender ( fuel level sending unit) have to be connected to complete a circuit? Cant I just leave it out until I can replace it. So I can move my bike for now?
