I have a 03 RKC with a stock seat. The seat SUCKS!!! My G/F and I can't ride it more 30-40 miles without stopping because our ASSES HURT!!!

Id like to find a seat that looks Old....Id buy a used one but im just not sure what would look the best.????

 

I ride an 03 RKC. After much reseach, I went with the Mustang Vintage Solo and matching/detachable passenger pillon. Looks great and is very comfortable - my experience and my opinion.

 

My wife loves this Corbin combo but, it doesn't fit on my new RK. Came off my 03' RK, if interested PM me.

 

You have a seat that is not comfortable, but you ask about a seat that looks good? The Ultimate is the most comfortable and high dollar, you can send your seat to me modified for comfort, HD sells the Sundowner seat, and for the money they are a good seat when broken in, The Mustang "Touring" seat is a good value. If you can find a used Ultra seat, they are good after broken in. The 04-06 Ultra seats were great.

 

I have a 2K3 FLHC. I picked up a Sundowner solo and pillion on Cracklist for $150. It was real comfy but had me scooted to far forward (common comment with the Sundowners). I sent the driver sear off to the good folks at MeanCity Cycles. For $40 + shipping, they shaved 2" off the back and 1" off the height. Still real comfy and fits me great.

My wife, who swears by the stock seat on our 2010 Ultra, says she is perfectly fine with the pillion.

Added bonus, the basketweave pattern matches the saddlebags, and the little "V-Logo" bling on the side ties in well with the rest of the look.

Just my experience, but you might want to look around eBay for similar.

 

I looked on E-Bay yesturday. I see lots of seats that im sure would be more comfordable....however they would really change the look of the bike. I was also thinking of a Gel Pad in my seat. Not sure if that does much.

 

I bought this from a guy on ebay. It's a stock seat from a 2009 Electra Glide Ultra Classic. I paid $75 for it. The seller took it off as soon as he bought his bike and put a hammock on it so this seat was pretty damned close to brand new. I put the back rest on a week later. I love it! The only time we stop now is for gas or a cigarette. We both hated the stock RKC seat. It was like sitting on a cinder block.

I personally like the stock seat on my '04 RK Classic but it was too narrow for the wife. I bought the comfort stitch seat (17" wide for me, 16" wide for the wife in the back) and it has worked out perfectly for both of us. HD part # S1157-04A. Fits '97 - '07 Road Kings.

 

you might consider having MeanCity Cycle do some comfort mods on your stock seat WAY way more THRIFTY than buying a new seat .

i had them work on my seat super comfey now total cost was just under $150 .

price varys depending on what you have them do .
