Exclamation Stripped Fairing Brass Bushing

Looking for advice on how to remove and replace one of the brass bushings mounted inside the batwing fairing on my 2011 Ultra Limited. The bushing is the bottom one, where the torx screw goes in between the forks. The screw must've gotten cross-threaded when I was trying to put the fairing back on and now I can't get the screw back in. Pulled the faring back off and the threads are definitely marred beyond repair.

If anyone knows the part number for the bushing, that would also be helpful. I can't seem to find it in the shop manual. Thanks.

far as I know you don't, I doubt the part is available might want to try to tap it out to the next size, most likely a metric size would be close. they are pressed in and made to be non removeable

True value by me sells them inserts. Heat gun and a screw to get it out.

But try a thread chaser first. I did the same damn thing and I ran a 1/4-20 thread cleaner in slowly with oil and its all good now.

Have one in my garage waiting to go in. My understanding is that the replacement part is slightly different than the original part. I think the original is pressed in, the replacement screws in. I think, follow up with a dealer to be sure.
