Fuse is good, brakes are not sticking, I dont even get a indicator light on the dial. Where do I start?

 

welcome to the forum, does the cruise switch light up? If it does, it should show up in the speedo gauge.

 

I would start at connections. Your bike is 10 years old so maybe the connections arnt the best any more. After that i would go to the on off switch. Take a volt meter there and make sure that you have 12 volts when the switch is on and nothing when its off just to make sure you have the right side of the switch. past that??? not sure if there is anything in the diag. for the cruise or not

 

Try unhooking the roll off switch in the cable, if it works then adjust the cable.
YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TURN THE CRUISE OFF WHEN YOU ROLL OFF THE THROTTLE SO BE CAREFUL.

Thanks for the info all. Thanks for the welcome to the forum. The cruise button lights up on the forks but the cruise indicator does not light up in the speedo. I am new to this "cruise" stuff. Are there any diagrams I can follow for the cruise system?
