Fatcat Q or Rinehart's Tru Duels which ones?
So this is what I know that I have seen on paper...The fatcat produces about 7 lbs of more torq, 5 more hp and the torq is peaked about 400 RPM's sooner (3200rpm) than the Rinehart's True duel on stage four kits on a 2012 FL.
I have the Fatcat now and kinda thought (with my wifes thought) I would go to True duels on the new steed but changed my mind because of the power difference. I have waited for the FatCat a few weeks now for them to come in and I have no eta, when the Rinehart's are sitting on the shelf and ready for install and I bring the bike home.
Would you be fussy about that much more torq and HP? Putting yourself with the same decision?

On a bagger I want duals. I hate the sound of a Fat Cat,so the answer would be easy for me. Before it is mentioned, yes I know you can get a ghost pipe. I think a ghost pipe is stupid as hell,a damn fake pipe just for looks. I understand why people run a 2 into 1 system,I just personally like a pipe under each bag.

Your butt won't notice the miniscule difference of power levels between TD's and 2 into 1 systems, I'm sure. I was led to believe that TD's sound great but wish I didn't go that route because of the db levels that are catastrophic. I still will never own a bagger with one muffler hanging under the saddlebags however.

Sorry but to me it's a no brainer. The Fat Cat is lighter, and will put the power where you need it. More torque 500 r.p.m. sooner is a big deal on a bagger especially. Guys in the know run 2 into 1's for good reason. They also don't care about the "unbalanced look" of their exhaust. Harleys have run the exhaust on the right side forever.

Guys, I have a Fatcat and have a friend with Rhinehart true duals. There is a considerable difference in torque. His bike feels sluggish at low rpm compared to mine. The 2-1 really makes a difference. Also, the Fatcat sounds great. So, do my fiend's rhineharts for that matter, but I would go with the Fatcat.
