If you're asking about replacing with an aftermarket header pipe, check out Fuelmoto. Supposed to be setup to OEM specs, but no cat ... kinda pricey, but ...

After reading all of that, I decided that removing the cat is a BAD idea. Read it and make up your own mind. To me, it seemed that those that speak for it are speaking from seat of the pants ("my bike seems to run fine"). Those that speak against it seem to have mechanical/engineering reasons for why it is a bad idea.
I think majority of the members here would disagree with you on this including me. I removed mine and got rid of that blast furnace that's just inches away from your right foot. No issues here and the motorcycle runs great too.

Good grief, there is nothing wrong with removing the catalyst. The '09 models didn't have them. All of the bikes prior didn't have them either. Think about it, none of the aftermarket headers have a cat converter. Now, I will concede that removing the cat may mean that you should POSSIBLY consider other mods to compensate. Mine ran perfectly fine without a cat and no other changes for 1,500 miles with zero trouble. However, due to the lean nature of the bike, I just installed an FL-VIED-10 to richen it up, make it run smoother, and run even cooler than it already did with the cat removal alone.

Removing mine was one of the best bang for the buck mods I could've done. I don't regret it at all. I even found a guy that welded aircraft headers for 15+ years who closed mine back up for me for $35. His weld looked like a work of art. I definitley recommend the window method. It's well documented on this site and worked extremely well for me.

Anyone on the fence should go for it!

Maybe so. But that doesn't make them right.

On a Road King, with no lower fairing or wind deflector, the heat is not an issue as long as the bike is moving. And that is the only real benefit of removing the cat.

Not trying to argue with you but I will have to respectfully disagree with you on this one also. I rode a freinds 110 CVO 2012 Streetglide and my 96" with 204 cams ran better. He was still breaking in the bke and hadn't made any changes yet thus the cat was still intact.
I also rode a friends brand new Ultra Limited with the 103 and it was a dog, chocked to death from the cat. But here's the deal, if you can stand the heat and satisfied with your bike stock then thats great but I'm one of those guys who don't won't to have limited restrictions due to the exhaust being stopped up sort a speak.

Agreed! My Ultra now sounds more like a Harley and less like a sewing machine. The stock pipes sound much better after cat delete. Not as good as aftermarket but respectable enough to get by with until I can get new pipes.

Do it for heat and sound, don't do it for performance. I haven't seen anyone post a Dyno yet that shows any improvement. But it will definitely help with the heat and it will sound much louder/better.

A well tuned 96/204 combo will make more power than a stock 103 or 110. I have seen a catted 103 make more than a decatted 103. The slip ons do have an influence.
