I replaced my 12" with a 10" recurve. It works better than stock, and looks a lot better too. I have absolutely NO buffeting, and I wear a half helmet.

long rides look interesting. I ride 90% of the time 2up with the wife and she complains about wind buffeting on the hwy. I wonder what shield would be best? I'm 5'10'' and she is 5'2''.

When I ride I can put my hand just above my helmet and the wind is bad so I can imagine what it's like for her back there.

My new CVO Ultra came with a 10" and it's just about even with my chin. Looking to go at least to 15" or more with the recurve and hope the breeze will clear my noggin. I'm 6' 4" and most my height is above my ***.

I agree with Beary. Same height with curve puts a bit of distortion in a critical area for you. I'd go one or two inches lower. Wind still hits you high up but you see over the shield.

You might try a shield like our Flat Top. That usually is the best for riding 2up

Interesting I will have to "Look into" that flat top :-)
