Harley sells an ipod kit but it's expensive. Iron Cross Audio is a little less. Not sure about any other aftermarket units that will work with the handlebar controls.

if you get a chance you can test ride a cvo, take your ipod and put it in the dock.

my observation is that operating the thing takes the eyes off the road way too much.

you are manipulating controls and there seems to be a lag between pushing the buttons and the display registering your choice.

frustrating.

and by now you are on the shoulder 'cause you strayed out of the lane.

so i wasn't impressed and the $15 cable is better than the $400 interface.

but you should try for your self. many dealers have cvos on the floor or find the HD demo fleet

I've been looking for a little while to upgrade my audio and there are a few head units that the ipod will slide into. I like this option. I found a Sony DSXS-100 on Amazon for $89.99, for example. With the right parts around it, this might be somethng you could consider. Makes for less messing with the ipod if you can't reach it.
