I just got my H.O.G. magazine and read an article about a fella that shipped his Road Glide to the U.K. so he could go touring over there. I have already looked into the rental rates there and know that it would be almost 1600 to 1800 a week to rent a road king. The article never said what the shipping costs were so I thought I would rely on the vast knowledge of the Forumfor help .

Seriously though I'd recommend Ireland as a great touring location - amazing scenery and great history.

 

My wife is Scottish and we travel there at least every other year and sometimes more. Was there in 2005 and the weather was great in Paisley but when we got up north it turned real nasty. With the price that they charge for a rental I thought I might look into shipping it over there.
