I have no experience with the rain makers but I recently bought these http://www.harley-davidson.com/mcm/m...bmLocale=en_US and can say they are the most comfortable and lightest boot I've ever worn. I haven't had the opportunity to ride in the rain with them yet but they are well constructed and very comfortable plus there $40 cheaper then the rain maker.
