Just curious what everyone else is getting for gas mileage?

My low fuel light seems to come on at r37 and I fill it up at r12 and the tank is full at 5.1 gallons.

My remaining fuel then resets to r197.

My powervision trip meter shows 42.0 in the city and 42.7 on the highway.

Bike has 750 miles on it and will be getting it's 1000 service completed real soon.

2012 Streetglide with V&H power duel header with V&H 3.5 black widow slip-ons, V&H V02 air intake, V&H throttle pack and tuned with a powervision.

 

I've got a 2011 Electra Glide Classic (96'' engine) with 3,500 miles. The cat. converter is still in it. It has a pair of V&H 4'' Twin Slash Round slip-ons. I get about 38 MPG. I keep hoping it will increase as it gets more miles and loosens up a bit, but seems like 38 is what it's going to be.

 

I have a stock 2012 Street Glide with about 3800 miles on it and my last tank was 32mpg, but that was all in town driving with lots of stops and starts. I've seen as good as 38 on the highway.

 

That mileage isn't very impressive. My old cop bike is 100% stock and got 45.5 mpg on a recent 320 mile trip. Mix of 50% highway and side roads. It's only a 80 cu in Evo. I guess adding mufflers and other work to a slightly bigger motor might increase performance, but defiantly increases gas use. LoL.,,,

 

I have about 3000 miles on my bike now, and get 40-42 on average. I have gotten as high as 47 on the hwy.

 

Almost 15K miles and I'm getting 40-42 mpg. Mileage is ever so slightly better since doing stage one last year.

 

the variables are numerous;

weight, load, wind resistance ( all them "baffles and "deflectors" can add up), wind speed/direction. tire condition, thread etc.

and the road speed and variations in speed.

I know that my 09* will get 43 MPG cruising at 65~70 measured over thousands of miles.

My '95 FLHTC 80" evo was right at 45 MPG at 65 MPH

My headers are still on backorder, but I did the Fuel Moto Jackpots, SE intake and Power Vision - so I will see if a complete stage 1 changes things any, but according to the power vision, my average is 49.3 mpg.

The bike has 3500 miles on it, 2300 have been in the past two weeks. I haven't had a chance to run the numbers by hand, but I don't know that the number on the power vision is really all that far off. I get about 210 per tank when the low fuel light kicks on, then it shows r37.

I don't know that I fully trust the gauges, but when I top off the tank, I can only get 4.7 gal in there after 210 miles, so... if .3 gal would get me 37 miles, it could mean that I am getting close to 49 mpg. Seems a bit high though, but I don't rev it hard, and I do a lot of highway miles cruising in 6th.

 

On my 10, Ness big sucker, decatted the stock pipes, stock mufflers, and FL-Xied-10. 47 on highway.

 

Not necessarily so ... my 103" stock ran right around 40 MPG, now it's a 107" and I can still get consistent 40 MPG tanks. Of course, I can also get it down into the mid thirties with a heavy throttle, but that is to be expected. It's hard to compare MPG bike to bike, even tank to tank, because of so many variables. But, if you're getting anywhere between 37-43, probably pretty normal. You'll hear of guys on the high and low sides, but they are the minority.
