Here in St. George there very little flat ground, so around town its up and down hills all the time. A tank of gas spent running short errands will usually get me 35-36 mpg. I have gotten worse. On the highway at a cruise control constant 70 mph speed, with little wind, I'll get 40-41, 38-39 if I cruise at 75.

On the Ultra there is so much drag induced load that higher speeds take a lot of power. Road Kings with just a stock windshield get much better mileage. On mountain backroads averaging 40-45 mph in 4th and 5th gears, I'll see 45-48 mpg, when drag is minimal.

Sometimes I wonder if the gas pumps are telling me the truth on quantity. And there seems to be a difference between winter gas and summer gas. I usually get a little better mileage on summer gas.

I trip plan 40 mpg, and that holds up pretty well unless I encounter extremes like the gale on the nose from Amarillo, TX to Moriarty, NM a couple years back. 5th gear for 132 miles, 31 mpg.

Still breaking in the new 103. Just over 700 miles now and last tank was 43.5. I am guessing the average will be in the range advertised by the MoCo. (42).

Stock 2010 StreetGlide with 96. Just did a 1300 miler, mostly interstate running ~75mph with load, averaged 40.88 mpg. I usually average right at 45mpg with no load. GF running with me on her Deluxe got average of 43mpg. I will take it.

My powervision trip meter shows 42.0 in the city and 42.7 on the highway.

Bike has 750 miles on it and will be getting it's 1000 service completed real soon.

2012 Streetglide with V&H power duel header with V&H 3.5 black widow slip-ons, V&H V02 air intake, V&H throttle pack and tuned with a powervision.
My "09 Heritage W/ basically stock 96" with K & N inlet, Rinehart slipons, and Screamin' Eagle plug wires, (orange in color), 40 psi in both tires, got 47 mpg on two checks. Old geezer easing thru and around Foothills Parkway and The Dragon on both checks.

Funny topic because we are all different. The more you twist the throttle the more you spend on fuel. I have the stage one upgrade and breather I get 35 at best a lot of hill too. My 07 Dyna with the 96 stock I got close to 45

On my 03 RKC I had gotten 43-45 mpg on a regular basis mix of around town and highway. On my 11 EG Ultra the best I can do is 34-36 mpg.

2012 Street Glide w/ SE air cleaner & VH Big Radius and SE Pro Race Tuner. 12,312 miles and averaged 43.4 MPG on two separate 2-up 2K round trips to Memphis TN from VA @ 78-80 mph average when on the super slabs. Local 3-4 hour rides around VA I'm getting 38-42 depending on hard hard I'm pushing her (she regularly sees 5K rpm throughout 1st-4th).
